AMMO: 500 Rounds (Pistol), 500 Rounds (Carbine/Rifle), 25 Slugs, 50 Buckshot Rounds and 50 Birdshot Rounds (Shotgun) This course is a challenging 5 day course that will not only teach officers how to instruct other officers in pistol, carbine/rifle, and shotgun shooting, but it will introduce them to advanced firearms skills. During this course, attending officers will assist in the development of three basic firearms programs; a basic pistol program, a basic rifle program, and a basic shotgun program. The attending officers will learn how to determine key factors necessary for a safe firearms training program, learn how to organize courses, learn instructional and coaching methods, and how to develop shooting drills that will reinforce their instruction. Officers attending this course will be shown how to structure their curriculums and learn how to document their courses to provide consistency and reduce their liability. Following instruction on firearms course development, officers will take part in developing the three basic firearms programs. They will outline their new courses, and then proceed to fill in the necessary details of the particular course, to which they were assigned. After the main content of the courses are complete, they will develop firearms drills to reinforce key elements. Once courses have been developed, every student will assist in instructing the courses that they developed. Each course will include both classroom and range instruction. Officers, now instructors, will present the classroom lecture portion of their course, and then will assemble on the outdoor range where they will provide instructions to execute course drills. After completing this course, attending students will be certified, by Degrata Tactical Inc., as a basic law enforcement pistol, shotgun, and rifle/carbine instructor. They will be able to develop new documented firearms programs for their agencies and then provide the instruction to their officers. |

PRE-REQUISITE: Certified Law Enforcement Officer or Military Member Degrata Tactical Inc. is offering a (Force on Force ONLY) Active Shooter Engagement and Resolution Course . This course was developed to give personnel a chance to learn advanced tactics in resolving an active shooter, in a school, office building, mall, or other public place. It was developed as a short course so that students could get experience in resolving this type of incident, without conflicting with their normal schedules. Course participants will learn how to maximize their effectiveness by using shooting positions, angles, light, and movement. They will experience engaging single and multiple threats, both individually and as a team. They will learn, first hand, the benefits of pistols vs carbines. Students will take part in immediate action/hostage rescue drills, downed "shooter" and student extractions, student and staff evacuations, battlefield medical emergencies, and will receive an introduction to improvised explosive devices. Students will be split into teams and have the experience of being the team leader for their team. Each team will be expected to "create" a new drill that they want to practice because of a specific threat or issue in their school. These teams will learn to work independently and as multiple assault elements, to solve different pieces of the same problem. Personnel attending this course will be able to take what they have learned and provide officers from their own departments with the core tactics needed, in the event of an active shooter in theirs, or a nearby, jurisdiction. This course is a Force on Force ONLY course, so no lethal weapons are required. Students attending this course should bring their full duty gear minus firearms, or if they are part of a Special Response Team, their full call-out gear. BDU's or tactical pants are suggested. Additional requirements will be sent in a confirmation letter, upon registration. |

Small Unit Tactics was designed to be multi-jurisdictional training. It was created for small jurisdictions that often need assistance from other jurisdictions when answering alarm calls, or serving arrest or search warrants. Often in these situations, personnel have not been trained using the same tactics or techniques and are not used to working together, which is detrimental to the mission, the team, and the individual. This course will teach students to work together as a team, to know what to expect of each other, areas of responsibility, and to teach combat proven principles, techniques, and concepts that will increase the chances of success for the individual and the team. |

According to FBI statistics, most officers killed in the line of duty, are killed in a low-light environment. This course focuses on teaching the skills to officers allowing more affective control in the use of light for suspect control as well as in lethal engagements. In this course attending students will acquire new combat proven firearms skills to be used in conjunction with combat proven low light skills. Both live fire and force on force drills will be used in this course to both teach and test their newly acquired skills. This is an advanced course and will focus on far for than the standard low light techniques used by most law enforcement. Even though the traditional low light techniques do have a place, we feel that all techniques, principles and concepts should be proven in environments that are as close as possible to real life environments. We will give attending students multiple chances to accomplish this. |

To address these unique skills, in a single affordable program, we have developed our Tactical Medical Care Course based heavily upon the US Military's Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). This course was developed because the Military's TCCC has been shown to save lives on the battlefield and we need a program that equally saves lives in the law enforcement world. The focus of this course is pre-hospital trauma care, provided by law enforcement personnel. This is an excellent course for ALL tactical team operators, but is also incredibly valuable for ALL law enforcement officers and EMS personnel that work closely with law enforcement. This is NOT an EMT certification course. This course will teach you to address the most common causes of battlefield deaths, that you could also encounter in a tactical environment (school shootings, tactical entries, etc.), hemorrhage from extremity wounds, tension pneumothorax, airway problems and others. You will also learn how to the properly evacuate casualties from hostile areas and provide care under fire. This is a fast paced course. Students will learn to provide life saving medical care for themselves and others, under the stress of Force on Force drilling. If you work on a tactical team, are a patrol officer, are EMS and work closely with law enforcement, or work in a shooting sports environment, this course is for you. |
